The Finance Officer is a senior member of Manitoba Opera’s management team. Reporting to the General Director, the Finance Officer will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports for MO. This position provides financial support to the General Director through bookkeeping, payroll, banking and reporting services. The Finance Officer will be accountable for all the necessary and appropriate records, files and processes to ensure the smooth and compliant financial operation of the organization, focusing on accuracy and transparency.

Certification Required, this position also requires a self-motivated individual who can work as member of the health care team within the framework of his/her educational competencies under the direction of the Nurse Manager. This individual should also act as a patient advocate and Realcare ambassador by utilizing well developed communications skills.
Office Administrative Support:
Providing exceptional customer service over a 4-line phone system and in person
General administrative duties (filing, data entry, sorting mail, maintain databases)
Provide administrative support to the team as required
Schedule interviews, update employee file, shift scheduling, student recruitment
Cover after-hours phone service when necessary
Calling employees to inform them of updates (scheduling or office updates)
The Account Manager’s role is to respond and close inbound leads generated through web and outbound prospecting.
