The Associates, a forward thinking business model initiated in 1982 by former Dean Roland Grandpre and a prominent group of business leaders to garner the support of alumni and the business community and to formally link them with the school. The Associates were based on the principle that a strong business school ensues the economic vibrancy of Manitoba. The first year’s target was 100 members and it was achieved on the date of the first Annual General Meeting!
